In 1997, the Qu\u00e9beComm Agency was founded in Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s national capital. A small communication agency composed of two employees.<\/p>\n

Little by little, Qu\u00e9beComm transitioned from a communication agency to an event organizer, then to a show producer, and eventually to a television producer which led to the creation of the ComediHa! brand in 2015.<\/p>\n

For over 25 years, within the province of Qu\u00e9bec, ComediHa! has been a leader in the entertainment industry. With over 100 permanent employees and nearly 4,000 temporary staff spread across Qu\u00e9bec, Montreal, Paris, and Hollywood, ComediHa! has been dedicated to ‘Making the world laugh.’<\/p>\n

For the past 25 years, the ComediHa! Fest – Qu\u00e9bec has attracted over 750,000 visitors, making it the largest Francophone Comedy festival in the world!<\/p>\n

In February 2024, the ComediHa! Agency changed its name to AMUZ Agency. Much more than just a new name, AMUZ also redefined the company’s DNA, broadening its mission and service offerings. Now fully dedicated to bringing together talent to create, produce, and distribute entertaining content alongside strong and established brands.<\/p>\n

Also in the same month, ComediHa! announced the acquisition of \u201cProductions Martin Leclerc\u201d. This acquisition was part of ComediHa!\u2019s new strategic plan to diversify the creation, production, and distribution of content within the organization, in synergy with its music division, SISMYK.<\/p>\n

In June 2024, ComediHa! acquired assets from Juste pour rire and Just For Laughs, solidifying its position as a major player in comedy within the province of Qu\u00e9bec, Canada, and internationally. Specifically, the transaction includes the acquisition of brands such as the Juste pour rire, Just For Laughs, ZooFest, ComedyPro brands, the Gags, as well as the audiovisual catalog.<\/p>\n
